* Bob Richard is a gifted storyteller who imparts his love of Yellowstone Country on every personal tour he guides. He inspires his guests with the legends and lore of the region based on three generations of family history. During his childhood on the North Fork of the Shoshone River, Bobs grandfather Fred showed him every mountain and stream and told him how it got its name. His father Jack Richard, the regions best-known photojournalist, passed on his love of the high country and taught Bob skills he still uses as a professional photographer. Bob has a broad range of knowledge based on his experience as a cattle rancher, military veteran, school teacher, civic leader and book author. His many years as a Yellowstone Park Ranger gave him the keys to unlock Yellowstones greatest hidden treasures.

Bill Shepard was born in Wyoming to a family of early settlers, he has a rich understanding of Wyoming history and a lifetime of experience in its great outdoors. He has guided, hunted, and fished throughout Yellowstone Country, and has managed a large farm and ranch on the Clarks Fork of the Yellowstone River. Bill weaves a fascinating tour of the history and geology of Cody Country and the settlement of the region dating to the first time it was discovered by a white man  John Colter of Lewis and Clark fame - in 1806.

Kenny Gasch is a native of Wisconsin who moved west to the Rockies to make Cody his home 28 years ago. A carpenter by trade, he makes his living in the construction business and regularly guides hunters, hikers and mountain climbers on backcountry excursions. Hes downright exuberant about sharing a passion for the Yellowstone region in a way that only an outdoorsman can.

Larry J. Roop studied wildlife management and wildlife ecology at the University of Maine and Purdue University, and worked with wolf biologists David Mech and Durward Allen  author of The Wolves of
Minong - on research at Isle Royale National Park. Larry has been a freelance writer and photographer, associate editor of Wyoming Wildlife, and the grizzly bear biologist for the Wyoming Game and Fish Department. As wildlife biologist for the Cody region, he oversaw hunting seasons and game management.

Specialties: Wolves, bears, other wildlife, wildlife photography.

Mack Frost has a passion for landscape photography and knows the best spots to photograph Yellowstone Countrys scenic views. Mack owned a photo store for many years, and hes skilled in digital techniques such as stitching multiple frames into 360-degree panoramas. Macks roots in the area run deep. His family moved to the region in 1885, before the town of Cody even existed. His friendly character has made him a popular personality in radio broadcasting  his current profession.

Marianne Pickering is an author/educator with a zeal for the natural sciences. She has a background in wildlife conservation and anthropology, and worked as an Education Specialist at Brookfield Zoo and Field Museum in Chicago. A resident of Cody since 1999, Marianne is enthusiastic about sharing the Yellowstone Region with others.

Specialties: Environmental Education and Natural Science

Marty Stannard loves the outdoors and enjoys sharing his knowledge of the region with a hands-on approach to outdoors and environmental education. He often welcomes guests to venture off the highway for a nature hike as one of the best ways to learn about the outdoors. He especially enjoys seeing young people learn something about their environment, noting, "They're learning about one of the neatest places on earth."

Specialties: Nature hikes, environmental education, Lamar Valley.

Meg Sommers has been an outdoor enthusiast from early childhood. A resident of the Cody area since 1977, she now focuses her love for the outdoors on the Greater Yellowstone area. Through her digital photography she has found a way to share the beauty and grace of the area with others. Meg's photography covers the full spectrum from landscapes and wildlife to flowers. A knowledgeable naturalist, her dual passions for both the Park and photography combine with her enthusiasm for sharing the wonders of it all to make her a popular guide. When not in the Park, Meg stays busy as a local attorney, part time judge and is active with extensive community service.

Mick Barrus grew up in Cody and taught school and coached sports for 26 years. He worked summers for the Forest Service for many years and full-time for 10 years for the Shoshone National Forest. Hes a popular speaker on the natural sciences and wildlife  especially black bears and grizzlies  his special interests. Hes known throughout the country as a motivational speaker and lecturer, and is dedicated to community service and Lions Club International.

Specialties: Natural sciences, wildlife, history.

Ray Hall is the retired superintendent of the Shoshone National Forest with a sharp understanding of the natural resources of the Greater Yellowstone Area. His career with the Forest Service spanned 35 years in Wyoming, Colorado, Utah, and Oregon. He also worked in Washington, D.C., as an advisor on forest management, wilderness designations, Wild and Scenic River designations and wild horse management. He continues to advocate for wise use of Americas natural resources. These days Ray has a small home-maintenance and repair business and raises registered Morgan horses when hes not driving, guiding or lecturing for Grub Steak Expeditions.
